Art has always been a part of African culture and civilizations since the beginning of time. However, with time, the synchronization of different religions, blending of various groups, political shifts, and complicated histories, has helped to shape what we know now as the African aesthetic.

In recent years, African artists have taken advantage by bravely showcasing their culture with no apologies. Resulting in a niche, African artists have successfully drawn eyes to the continent for all of the right reasons. As a result, we have seen many traditional African hairstyles, prints, jewelry and style of clothing become very popular across the diaspora.
